1. Items purchased under the tax-free system must be taken out of Japan by the purchaser themselves.

2. When departing Japan, please present your passport and the purchased items to customs.

3. If you do not have the tax-free items with you at the time of departure, consumption tax will be collected by customs.

For customers who have purchased tax-free items

How long does it take to receive the email?

After the tax-free application is completed at the store, we will send you an email within 1–2 weeks.Please follow the instructions in the email to enter the details of your refund method.

How long does it take to receive the refund?

Once the refund method details have been submitted, the refund will be processed and credited promptly.Please note that various transfer fees may apply.

What are the requirements for tax-free purchases?

The main requirements are that the total purchase amount is ¥5,000 or more (excluding tax), and that the customer is a foreign national entering Japan under short-term stay, diplomatic, or official status.For more details, please refer to the National Tax Agency website.
