TAIMATSU株式会社（以下「当社」といいます。）は、当社が提供する免税手続き支援サービス「SAMURAI TAX」（以下「本サービス」といいます。）の運営にあたり、お客様の個人情報を取得します。当社は、本プライバシーポリシー（以下「本ポリシー」といいます。）および適用される法令に従い、これらの個人情報を責任をもって取り扱います。

本ポリシーにおける「お客様」とは、本サービスを利用する旅行者、並びに加盟店および提携パートナーの役員・従業員をいいます。本ポリシーは、当社がお客様の個人情報をどのように収集・利用するか、またお客様が自身の個人情報にどのようにアクセスできるかについて説明するものです。

■ 基本方針

1. 当社は、本サービスにおける個人情報保護のための体制を確立・実施・維持し、継続的に改善します。

2. 当社は、本サービスの運営に携わる従業員および関係者が個人情報保護に関する方針を遵守するよう徹底します。

3. 取得した個人情報は、明示された利用目的の範囲内で適切に管理・利用します。

4. 当社は、個人情報保護に関する適用法令・規則・ガイドラインを遵守します。

5. 当社は、個人情報の漏えい・滅失・毀損の防止に努め、適切なセキュリティ措置を実施します。

■ 第2条　個人情報とは

本ポリシーにおける「個人情報」とは、個人情報の保護に関する法律（以下「個人情報保護法」といいます。）に定める個人情報を意味します。すなわち、生存する個人に関する情報であって、①当該情報に含まれる氏名、生年月日その他の記述等により特定の個人を識別することができるもの（他の情報と容易に照合することができ、それにより特定の個人を識別することができることとなるものを含みます。）、または②個人識別符号が含まれるものをいいます。

■ 第3条　取得する個人情報の種類

（1）本サービスを利用する旅行者の個人情報

当社は、本サービスを利用する旅行者から以下の個人情報を取得・処理します（法令上必要な場合は、ご本人へ別途通知したうえで取得します。）。

① 属性情報

・氏名、年齢、生年月日、性別、住所、電話番号、メールアドレス、国籍、在留資格等

② 日本滞在に関する情報

・入国日、出国日、滞在期間等

③ 購買・免税申請情報

・購入商品のカテゴリ、購入金額、購入日時、購入回数等

・免税申請の内容、消費税還付額、申請日時等

④ 購入店舗に関する情報

・店舗名、商業施設名、店舗カテゴリ、所在地（住所、緯度・経度）等

⑤ パスポート・本人確認情報

・パスポート番号、発行国、有効期限、顔写真等（免税手続き法令に基づく取得）

⑥ 還付先情報

・メールアドレス、クレジットカード決済に関する情報（決済代行事業者が管理する情報を含む）、銀行口座情報、電子決済サービスアカウント情報等

⑦ アプリ・サービス利用情報

・ログイン履歴、最終ログイン日時、操作履歴、通知の授受情報、閲覧履歴、同意記録等

⑧ 端末・通信情報

・使用端末のOS・種類、ブラウザ情報、IPアドレス、言語設定、Cookie・オンライン識別子等

※当社はアクセス解析のためにGoogle Analyticsを使用しています。Google AnalyticsはCookieを利用してアクセスログ（IPアドレス・デバイス情報・操作履歴等）を収集します。詳細はGoogleの公式サイトをご参照ください。

⑨ お問い合わせ情報

・氏名、メールアドレス、お問い合わせ項目・内容等

⑩ 推測情報

・上記情報の分析により推測された趣味・嗜好・関心等に関する情報

（2）加盟店および提携パートナーの役員・従業員の個人情報

当社は、加盟店および提携パートナーの役員・従業員から以下の個人情報を取得・処理します。

① 連絡先情報

・氏名、所属会社名・所在地、部署名・役職、電話番号、メールアドレス等

② 商談・取引情報

・ご契約いただいたサービス内容、商談内容、見積内容、契約締結に関する情報等

③ 免税申請・運用情報

・加盟店における免税申請の処理状況、売上データ、免税実績データ等

④ お問い合わせ情報

・氏名、メールアドレス、お問い合わせ項目・内容等

⑤ 推測情報

・ビジネス上の関心・ニーズ等を推測した情報

■ 第4条　個人情報の利用目的

当社は、取得したお客様の個人情報を以下の目的のために利用します。なお、プロファイリング等の自動処理のみに基づいて、アカウント停止や免税手続きの拒否等、お客様に重大な影響を及ぼす決定を機械的に行うことはありません。

・本サービスの提供・維持・保護・改善（言語設定の最適化、表示のカスタマイズ等を含みます。）

・免税手続きの処理、税務当局（国税庁等）への申告・報告

・消費税還付の処理および還付先への送金

・加盟店向けの免税申請データの提供・可視化・分析レポートの提供

・広告・キャンペーン・クーポン等の情報提供（取得情報の分析に基づく最適化を含みます。）

・マーケティング調査・アンケートの実施、分析結果に基づく事業改善

・マーケティングデータの調査・分析および施策の検討・実施

・新規サービスの企画・研究・開発

・お問い合わせ対応およびお客様への連絡

・不正利用の防止およびセキュリティの確保

・紛争・訴訟等への対応および法的義務・規制当局からの要請への対応

・個人を特定できない統計情報の作成・利用

・受託業務の遂行（委託元から個人情報の提供を受けた場合）

・本ポリシーに記載する方法・範囲内での第三者提供

・その他上記目的に付随する目的および適用法令上許容される目的

■ 第5条　個人情報の提供の必要性

当社は、適用ある個人情報保護法令に従い、お客様の個人情報を取得・処理します。個人情報の提供は、免税手続きに関する法令（消費税法等）や契約上の理由により、本サービスの利用に必須とされている場合があります。必要な情報をご提供いただけない場合、免税手続きの処理・還付対応ができないことがあります。

■ 第6条　個人情報の保存期間

当社は、税務関連法令に基づき必要な場合、個人情報を最長7年間保存することがあります。個人情報の保存期間を決定するにあたり、情報の量・性質・機密性・リスク、利用目的、および適用法令上の要件（税法等における保存義務を含みます。）を考慮します。保持の必要がなくなった個人情報は、速やかに削除または匿名化します。技術的に削除が困難な場合（バックアップアーカイブ等）は、削除が可能になるまでの間、安全に保管し、新たな利用が行われないよう措置を講じます。

■ 第7条　個人情報の取得源

当社は、以下の情報源からお客様の個人情報を取得します。

・直接取得：お客様ご本人からの提供（Webフォームへの入力、パスポートスキャン等）

・自動取得：本サービス利用時のCookie、オンライン識別子、ログ情報等

・間接取得：提携先（TAX REFUND JAPAN（株式会社デジタルワレット）等）、Google LLC等の分析ツール事業者からの提供

・推測情報の作成：お客様情報の分析による嗜好・関心等の推測

■ 第8条　情報の共有・第三者提供、委託および共同利用

当社は、法令に従い、以下のとおりお客様の個人情報を第三者に提供・委託または共同利用します。

1. 法令に基づく第三者提供（国税庁等）

免税手続きを履行するために、国税庁・税関等の税務当局に対し、購入記録・パスポート情報等の個人情報を提供します。また、法令遵守、公的機関からの要請、人の生命・身体・財産の保護、公衆衛生の向上等のために必要がある場合にも提供することがあります。

2. 還付処理パートナーへの提供および共同利用

消費税還付処理のために、提携する送金パートナー（株式会社デジタルワレット（TAX REFUND JAPAN））に対し、以下の情報を提供します。

・メールアドレス

・還付金額

・購買情報

・その他還付に必要な情報

また、返金のステータスや登録された返金手段などの情報を送金パートナーより取得することがあります。なお、送金パートナーによる個人情報の取り扱いは、送金パートナーのプライバシーポリシーに従います。

3. 広告配信事業者への第三者提供

お客様は、本ポリシーへの同意をもって、以下の第三者提供に同意したものとします。当社は、お客様の関心に応じた広告配信・成果確認のため、提携する広告配信事業者（Google LLC、Meta Platforms, Inc.、X Corp.、LINEヤフー株式会社等）に対し、お客様の個人情報（ハッシュ化したメールアドレス、広告識別子等）を提供します。

4. 加盟店への第三者提供

当社は、本サービスの提供および加盟店との契約履行に必要な範囲において、購入履歴、免税手続情報その他必要な情報を加盟店へ提供する場合があります。お客様の同意が必要な場合、当社は法令に従い適切な方法で同意を取得します。

5. 業務委託（処理者への提供）

当社は、利用目的の達成に必要な範囲内で、個人情報の取り扱い業務の全部または一部を外部サービスプロバイダー（クラウド事業者、決済代行会社等）に委託することがあります。この場合、当社は当該委託先を適切に監督します。

6. 事業譲渡等

合併、会社分割、事業譲渡その他の事由による事業の承継に伴い、個人情報が提供される場合があります。

■ 第9条　居住国外等への個人情報の移転

上記の第三者提供および委託等の結果、お客様の個人情報が、お客様の居住国以外の国にある第三者に移転される場合があります。主な移転先の国・地域は以下のとおりです。

・日本（当社所在地）

・米国（広告配信事業者（Google LLC、Meta Platforms, Inc.等）、還付処理パートナー等）

・その他、広告配信事業者がサーバーを設置している国・地域

移転先の外国における個人情報保護制度については、個人情報保護委員会（PPC）のウェブサイト（https://www.ppc.go.jp/enforcement/infoprovision/laws/）をご参照ください。当社は、外国にある第三者がOECDプライバシーガイドライン8原則または現地適用法令に対応する適切な個人情報保護措置を講じていることを確認したうえで提供を行います。

■ 第10条　安全管理措置

当社は、お客様の個人情報を正確かつ最新の状態に保つよう努めるとともに、不正アクセス・漏えい・改ざん・滅失・毀損の防止その他安全管理のために、必要かつ適切な措置を講じます。外国において個人情報を取り扱う場合は、当該外国の個人情報保護制度等の外的環境を把握したうえで、必要かつ適切な安全管理措置を講じます。安全管理措置の具体的な内容については、第1条記載の問い合わせ窓口までご連絡いただければ、遅滞なく回答いたします。

■ 第11条　Cookie、モバイル広告IDおよび類似技術

1. Cookieの利用

当社は、本サービスの利便性向上・利用状況分析・広告配信等のため、Cookie、モバイル広告ID（iOSのIDFA、AndroidのAAID等）および類似技術（以下「Cookie等」といいます。）を使用し、お客様のデバイス情報や行動履歴等を自動的に取得します。

2. オプトアウト（Cookie等の無効化）

ブラウザまたは端末の設定を変更することにより、Cookie等の利用を無効にすることができます。ただし、無効にした場合、本サービスの一部機能が正常に動作しない場合があります。

3. Google Analyticsの利用

当社は、サービス改善・マーケティング目的で「Google Analytics」（Google LLC提供）を使用しています。Google Analyticsのデータ収集の仕組みについてはGoogleの公式サイトを、オプトアウト方法については「Google Analytics オプトアウト アドオン」をご参照ください。

■ 第12条　開示・訂正・利用停止等（お客様の権利）

当社は、適用される個人情報保護規制においてお客様が有する権利を尊重します。個人情報保護法に基づき、お客様は当社に対して以下の権利を行使することができます。

・利用目的の通知

・保有個人データの開示

・訂正・追加・削除

・利用停止・消去

・第三者提供の停止

・第三者提供記録の開示

権利の行使を希望される場合は、第1条記載の問い合わせ窓口までご連絡ください。なお、ご本人確認のため運転免許証・パスポート等の写しをご提出いただく場合があります。また、法令の定めに従い手数料を頂戴する場合や、ご要望にお応えできない場合があります。

■ 第13条　本ポリシーの改定

当社は、法令の変更・新サービスの開始・個人情報の取り扱いに関する運用変更等に対応するため、本ポリシーを随時改定することがあります。改定後のポリシーは、当社ウェブサイト（https://samurai-tax.com）への掲載時点から効力を生じます。重要な変更がある場合は、メールまたはサービス内通知等の適切な方法でお客様にお知らせします。法令上お客様の同意が必要となる変更の場合は、所定の方法により改めて同意を取得します。

TAIMATSU Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company" or "we") operates SAMURAI TAX (hereinafter referred to as "the Service"), a tax-free procedure support service. In the course of operating the Service, we collect personal information from our customers. We handle such information responsibly in accordance with this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") and applicable laws and regulations.

In this Policy, "Customer" refers to travelers who use the Service, as well as officers and employees of merchants (participating stores) and business partners. This Policy explains how we collect and use our Customers' personal information, and how Customers can access their own personal information.

1. The Company establishes, implements, maintains, and continuously improves systems for protecting personal information within the Service.

2. The Company ensures that employees and related personnel involved in operating the Service comply with policies regarding personal information protection.

■ Article 2: What Is Personal Information?

In this Policy, "Personal Information" means information defined as personal information under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan (APPI). This refers to information relating to a living individual that (1) can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, or other descriptions contained in such information (including information that can be readily collated with other information and thereby identify a specific individual), or (2) contains an individual identification code.

■ Article 3: Types of Personal Information We Collect

(1) Personal Information of Travelers Using the Service

We collect and process the following personal information from travelers using the Service (where required by applicable law, we will notify the individual separately before collection):

① Attribute Information

· Name, age, date of birth, gender, address, phone number, email address, nationality, visa status, etc.

② Information on Stay in Japan

· Date of entry, date of departure, length of stay, etc.

③ Purchase and Tax-Free Application Information

· Categories of purchased items, purchase amounts, date and time of purchase, purchase frequency, etc.

· Details of tax-free applications, consumption tax refund amounts, application date and time, etc.

④ Purchase Store Information

· Store name, commercial facility name, store category, location (address, latitude/longitude), etc.

⑤ Passport and Identity Verification Information

· Passport number, issuing country, expiration date, facial photograph, etc. (collected pursuant to tax-free procedure laws)

⑥ Refund Destination Information

· Email address, credit card information (number, expiration date, etc.), bank account information, electronic payment service account information, etc.

⑦ App and Service Usage Information

· Login history, last login date and time, operation history, notification transmission/reception records, browsing history, consent records, etc.

⑧ Device and Communication Information

· Device OS and type, browser information, IP address, language settings, cookies and online identifiers, etc.

※ The Company uses Google Analytics for access analysis. Google Analytics collects access logs (IP addresses, device information, operation history, etc.) using cookies. Please refer to Google's official website for details.

⑨ Inquiry Information

· Name, email address, inquiry category and content, etc.

⑩ Inferred Information

· Information inferring hobbies, preferences, and interests derived from analysis of the above information.

(2) Personal Information of Officers and Employees of Merchants and Business Partners

We collect and process the following personal information from officers and employees of merchants and business partners:

① Contact Information

· Name, company name and address, department and title, phone number, email address, etc.

② Negotiation and Transaction Information

· Details of contracted services, negotiation details, quotation details, information related to contract conclusion, etc.

③ Tax-Free Application and Operations Information

· Processing status of tax-free applications at the merchant, sales data, tax-free transaction records, etc.

④ Inquiry Information

· Name, email address, inquiry category and content, etc.

⑤ Inferred Information

· Information inferring business interests and needs.

■ Article 4: Purposes of Use of Personal Information

We use Customers' personal information for the following purposes. Note that we do not make decisions that produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect Customers — such as suspending accounts or rejecting tax-free applications — based solely on automated processing such as profiling.

· To provide, maintain, protect, and improve the Service (including optimization of language settings and customization of display)

· To process tax-free applications and submit reports to tax authorities (National Tax Agency, etc.)

· To process consumption tax refunds and remit funds to refund destinations

· To provide, visualize, and report tax-free application data to merchants

· To provide information on advertisements, campaigns, coupons, etc. (including optimization based on analysis of collected information)

· To conduct marketing research and surveys, and to improve our business based on analysis results

· To research, analyze, and implement marketing measures

· To plan, research, and develop new services

· To respond to inquiries and contact Customers

· To prevent fraudulent use and ensure security

· To respond to disputes and litigation, and to comply with legal obligations and requests from regulatory authorities

· To create and use statistical information that does not identify individuals

· To perform outsourced operations (when personal information is provided by a client)

· To provide information to third parties within the scope described in this Policy

· For other purposes incidental to the above and purposes permitted by applicable laws

■ Article 5: Necessity of Providing Personal Information

We collect and process Customers' personal information in accordance with applicable personal information protection laws. The provision of personal information may be mandatory for use of the Service due to laws related to tax-free procedures (Consumption Tax Act, etc.) or contractual reasons. If necessary information is not provided, we may be unable to process tax-free applications or handle refunds.

■ Article 6: Retention Period of Personal Information

Where required by applicable tax laws and regulations, the Company may retain personal information for up to seven (7) years. In determining the appropriate retention period for personal information, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the information, potential risks, purposes of use, and applicable legal requirements (including retention obligations under tax laws). When we no longer need to retain Customers' personal information, we will promptly delete or anonymize it. If deletion is technically difficult (e.g., if stored in backup archives), we will securely store such information and take measures to prevent further use until deletion becomes possible.

■ Article 7: Sources of Personal Information

We collect Customers' personal information from the following sources:

· Direct collection: Provided directly by the Customer (entry into web forms, passport scans, etc.)

· Automatic collection: Cookies, online identifiers, log information, etc., during use of the Service

· Indirect collection: Provided by business partners (TAX REFUND JAPAN operated by Digital Wallet Corporation, etc.) and analytics service providers such as Google LLC

· Creation of inferred information: Information inferring preferences and interests through analysis of Customer data

■ Article 8: Sharing, Third-Party Provision, and Outsourcing

We provide, outsource, or share Customers' personal information with third parties in accordance with applicable laws as follows:

1. Third-Party Provision Based on Laws (National Tax Agency, etc.)

To fulfill tax-free procedures, we provide personal information such as purchase records and passport information to tax authorities including the National Tax Agency and Customs. We may also provide personal information when necessary for legal compliance, requests from public authorities, protection of life, body, or property, or improvement of public health.

2. Provision to Refund Processing Partners

To process consumption tax refunds, we provide the following information to our remittance partner, TAX REFUND JAPAN operated by Digital Wallet Corporation:

· Email address

· Refund amount

· Purchase information

· Other information necessary for refunds

We may also obtain information from the remittance partner regarding refund status and registered refund methods. The handling of personal information by the remittance partner shall be governed by the remittance partner's privacy policy.

3. Provision to Ad Delivery Providers

Where required by applicable law, we will obtain the Customer's consent prior to such disclosure: To deliver advertisements tailored to the Customer's interests and to confirm results, we provide the Customer's personal information (hashed email addresses, advertising identifiers, etc.) to partner ad delivery providers (Google LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc., X Corp., LY Corporation, etc.).

4. Provision to Merchants

To the extent necessary for providing the Service and performing contracts with merchants, the Company may provide purchase history, tax-free application information, and other necessary information to merchants. Where the Customer's consent is required by applicable law, the Company will obtain such consent through appropriate means.

5. Outsourcing (Provision to Processors)

We may outsource all or part of our personal information handling operations to external service providers (cloud providers, payment processing companies, etc.) within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use. In such cases, we will appropriately supervise such contractors.

6. Business Transfer

Personal information may be provided in connection with the succession of business due to merger, company split, business transfer, or other reasons.

■ Article 9: Transfer of Personal Information Outside the Country of Residence

As a result of the third-party provisions and outsourcing described above, Customers' personal information may be transferred to third parties located in countries other than the Customer's country of residence. The primary destination countries and regions are as follows:

· Japan (location of the Company)

· USA (ad delivery providers such as Google LLC and Meta Platforms, Inc., refund processing partners, etc.)

· Other countries and regions where ad delivery providers operate servers

We provide information only after confirming that the third party in the foreign country takes appropriate personal information protection measures corresponding to the 8 Principles of the OECD Privacy Guidelines or applicable local laws.

■ Article 10: Safety Management Measures

The Company strives to keep personal information accurate and up to date, and implements necessary and appropriate measures to prevent unauthorized access, leakage, alteration, loss, or damage of Customers' personal information. When handling personal information in a foreign country, we take necessary and appropriate safety management measures after assessing the external environment regarding the personal information protection system in that country. For details on our specific safety management measures, please contact the inquiry window described in Article 1 and we will respond without delay.

■ Article 11: Cookies, Mobile Advertising IDs, and Similar Technologies

1. Use of Cookies

When Customers use our website or the Service, we automatically collect information such as device information and behavioral history using cookies, mobile advertising IDs (iOS IDFA, Android AAID, etc.), and similar technologies (collectively referred to as "Cookies, etc.") for the purposes of improving service convenience, analyzing usage, and delivering advertisements.

2. Opt-Out (Disabling Cookies)

Customers can disable the use of Cookies, etc. by changing their browser or device settings. Please note that if Cookies, etc. are disabled, some functions of the Service may not operate correctly.

3. Use of Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics provided by Google LLC for service improvement and marketing purposes. For information on how Google Analytics collects and processes data, please refer to Google's official website. To opt out of Google Analytics, please use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

■ Article 12: Disclosure, Correction, and Suspension of Use (Customers' Rights)

The Company respects the rights held by Customers under applicable personal information protection regulations. Based on the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan, Customers may exercise the following rights against us:

· Notification of purpose of use

· Disclosure of retained personal data

· Correction, addition, or deletion

· Suspension of use or erasure

· Suspension of third-party provision

· Disclosure of third-party provision records

If you wish to exercise these rights, please contact the inquiry window described in Article 1. Please note that we may request submission of a copy of a driver's license or passport for identity verification. We may also charge a fee or may be unable to respond to your request in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

■ Article 13: Revision of This Policy

The Company may revise this Policy from time to time to respond to changes in laws, the launch of new services, or changes in operations regarding the handling of personal information. Revised policies shall take effect at the time they are posted on our website (https://samurai-tax.com). In the event of significant changes, we will notify Customers by appropriate methods such as email or in-service notifications. If we make changes that require the Customer's consent under applicable law, we will obtain the Customer's consent again by a method prescribed by the Company.
